Job Description:The Admissions Operations Coordinator is responsible for providing excellent customer service, admissions department support, and completing general administrative tasks in a fast-paced environment. As a teacher, they must be confident and comfortable teaching students' physics and the basics of coding in Python. They should be comfortable with supporting students through team projects centered around building robots with LEGO, helping students build better teamwork and communication skills, and learning how to build a business proposal. Occasionally, this teacher will co-teach in our medical simulation lab. They will take on the roles of instructor, attending physician, patient, and/or counselor to students as they diagnose patients (training provided). The teacher must be able to create a welcoming space for students with varying educational needs and should be passionate about making the life sciences accessible to all. As a coordinator, they will be responsible for coordinating details for all HMS MEDscience x MOONSHOT school and industry partners, building marketing materials, managing seasonal staff, and setting up equipment.
