Professor, Advertising
From art direction and copywriting to integrated omnichannel brand marketing and strategic planning, the SCAD advertising program covers the full breadth of the discipline.
With leading-edge technology and environments, as well as inspiring professors with outstanding professional and academic credentials, SCAD offers unparalleled opportunities for students seeking career preparation in creative technology in advertising and branding. As a professor, you will encourage innovation and process development while also teaching the practical concepts of design.
With the convergence of brands extending beyond the physical world, students must have the ability to strategically imagine the future of brands in ways that can benefit the various needs of businesses and customers alike. The successful candidate has experience simulating these experiences and can use an advanced knowledge of advertising, branding, and interactive design to guide students as they hone their own abilities. Experience with professional-level visual art and design production is essential, as is knowledge of emerging platforms and technologies in advertising, branding, and interactive design.
SCAD Savannah is woven throughout one of TIME magazine’s "World’s Greatest Places 2021.” The city of Savannah’s inviting climate and a culturally rich downtown provide a living laboratory for the study of art and design, as well as a dynamically layered learning environment in which students, faculty, and staff flourish.
