As an exhibitions marketing and communications manager, you will collaborate with a social media strategist to design a content strategy that aligns with university-wide priorities and measurable outcomes. This role will allow you to oversee the strategy’s development and production; communicate with supervisors and other departments about SCAD initiatives and events; and develop/assess content performance to create reports for campaigns, signature events, and priority initiatives. You will manage the content editorial calendar and create a relevant publishing schedule of high-quality, platform-specific organic and paid content to grow and maintain audiences on social media. You will be responsible for the management and optimization of comprehensive paid social media content across all major platforms for admission and university-specific initiatives.

You will target, traffic, optimize, and report on the outcome of ad creatives and collaborate with community managers to ensure brand integrity and a positive image of the university. Your responsibilities will also include social media trend development tracking, conducting daily reviews of websites and social media channels, and delivering approvals to stakeholders for all exhibitions and event photography. You will deliver ad creatives for review and approval, manage a master social calendar for the exhibitions team to discuss and review biweekly, and develop content for the SCAD Museum of Art’s quarterly newsletter.
For all SCAD museums, the exhibitions marketing and communications manager oversees photo assets and the scheduling and confirmation of exhibition and exhibition-related special project documentation in coordination with the visual media team. You will respond to and return archive requests, deliver approvals for public relations (PR) asset requests, and review updates to museum websites to ensure accuracy.
