Job Summary
The GIS Technical Project Specialist is a crucial role responsible for the effective management of multiple architecture components within the Geographic Information System (GIS). This position provides technical expertise in the design, implementation, integration, and maintenance of GIS solutions, supporting the university’s infrastructure operations and strategic goals. The role involves coordinating technical staff, leading GIS projects, and ensuring data integrity while adapting to emerging technologies and industry best practices.

Skills / Knowledge / Abilities
Previous experience with complex programs and datasets. Must be able to work independently and as part of a team. Must be able to communicate effectively with leadership, co-workers, other departments and divisions.
