Physical Requirements

Ability to sit for extended periods of time utilizing mouse, keyboard, computer, and telephone. Ability to lift, push, or pull objects up to 50 lbs. Repetitive motion such as typing.



Shift

Monday through Friday; 8:00am – 5:00pm with some weekends required.



Job Summary

This Postdoctoral Fellow will be primarily responsible for designing and conducting experiments related to our research focus on autoimmune diseases. The research requires knowledge and a distinctive skill set in immunology and biochemistry that will be important to carry out the goals and specific aims of different projects. This position emphasizes techniques including flow cytometry, cell culture, molecular cloning, and bioinformatics. Basic knowledge of breeding and maintaining an animal colony is desirable. An eligible person is required to participate in weekly group meetings and write manuscripts for publications under the supervision of the PI.
