Job Summary
Primary goal is to increase campus-based experiential learning for CTE students that will expand upon and utilize skills acquired through career and technical education programs. Support students in career and technical education program who are participating in credit and noncredit experiential learning and internship activities on campus. Develop opportunities to work with students and staff to develop a schedule and provide oversite for students who are engaging in the activities. Assist faculty and staff in documenting learning outcomes. Provide job preparation skills as needed including assessment for job readiness, career exploration, navigation, coaching/counseling and job preparation skills.
Qualifications - Education
Associates degree in business and entrepreneurship, culinary arts, education or related field.
Qualifications - Experience
Two years of experience in business operations, career services or related field.
Qualifications - Skills
Demonstrated planning and management experience, Ability to use Microsoft Office products. Excellent oral and written communication skills Ability to coordinate and manage in-person and web-based career programs and services. Strong human relations skills and team orientation. Demonstrated ability to work with students, faculty, and employers to build relationships and improve effectiveness.
Work Hours
20 hours a week.
