Job Summary

The Martin-Gatton College of Agriculture, Food and Environment 4-H Department seeks an Agriculture Extension Specialist for Youth Work and Life Readiness, Health and Wellbeing Initiatives. This position is part of the 4-H Beyond ready initiative, which is a system-wide commitment to prepare young people to be healthy, productive, and engaged in the world around them. This Specialist provides program development and implementation for work/life readiness, healthcare workforce initiatives and youth health and well-being initiatives. This position will coordinate efforts to create new programs statewide and pursue new and exciting ways to get the information out to County Extension Agents. Responsibilities include curriculum development, grant writing and pursuing external funding and program development.

This position is located in Lexington, Ky.
