Job Summary
The Martin-Gatton College of Agriculture, Food and Environment Department of Horticulture seeks an Agriculture Extension Associate. This person will design, develop and deliver educational programs and resource materials in horticulture crop production and marketing in concert with collaborating faculty as part of the team of Extension Associates funded by the Kentucky Horticulture Council grant.
Skills / Knowledge / Abilities
A working knowledge of general farm production practices and equipment. Computer skills for data entry and report generation are desirable.

Horticulture production and/or marketing expertise through formal education and experience
Possess skills in data assimilation and presentation for various electronic avenues
Demonstrated ability to communicate with a wide variety of audiences
Experience in developing and/or providing high-quality, successful educational programs
Experience in writing and/or executing grant-funded projects
